Isn't this kid cute. We are just so in love with him. He is such an easy going little guy. He never complains and is always making us happy with his smile and contagious laugh. He will be 5 months in a couple days. Can't believe how fast that time has gone! Ty is a little fatty though. At his 4 month appointment he was 21 lbs. 10 ounces. He is SOOOO heavy. I don't know how much longer i can carry his car seat around.

Our new addition....
I am the worst blogger ever. Just scroll down a bit and you will find were I blogged about the birth of our last baby. (not that it was that long ago!!) Yes, we had another one. Another cute boy and we are in love!!!
Ty Steven Volmer was born on January 20th at 10:39 a.m. via C-section. He weighed 12 lbs. 15 1/2 oz. and was 22 inches long. ( why didn't they just round up 1/2 oz to make it 13? They didn't weigh him till he was almost an hour old and he even pooped and peed before they weighed him. They didn't have any diapers that would fit him, and finally some nurse found a pack of 3's. So he wore 3's while there. We knew he would be big, like our other kids, but we never imagined he could be bigger than Eliza. (weighing 11lbs. 6 oz.) He was a pound and a half bigger!! I was completely miserable at the end and HUGE!! Ask anyone. Of course I got the twins comments, the "you must be due anyday" when I was only 6 months, but really I was way bigger than with my other two.
He is such a sweet and good baby and is so calm even when his sister and brother are beating him over the head with some toy. They both love to kiss him and Eliza is already wanting to change his diaper, read to him, and "feed" him. Here are a few pictures of his birth day...The night before going in. (This picture really doesn't show how big I really was.)
Our first picture with him.
Poor baby had to have an iv for a few days due to some minor breathing problems.
The gang minus a dreadful looking momma.
All ready to go home in his 3-6 month outfit!!

Grandma.....
Did you know I'm Mormon? Well, I am. My mom wasn't raised Mormon or "LDS". She converted when she was 19.

Thanks Jill for your thoughts. It was such a fun weekend and good to remember Grandma and what she loved most!!

We have a crawler!!!
Yesterday Justin started crawling!! He never really scooted, or army crawled, just rolled around a little so we are so surprised at this milestone. I don't know if this is a good thing, but at least now he can get away from his sister a little faster!

4 months old
I am finally posting. I know I haven't said much about our latest addition so here he is.....
Justin. He is 4 months old. Crazy!! He is such a sweet boy. He is so easy going, never really cries, is happy to just hang out and sleeps and eats like a champ. He is always good for a smile and has this shyness about him that is so cute. He is a big boy and is breaking my back lugging around that carseat of his, but we love him!! I have to admit that when I found out I was pregnant with him I wanted a girl. I was SURE it was a girl too. I still wasn't convinced I would like a boy when he was born (maybe it was that we didn't have a name and still don't know if we picked the right one) but now he is as Eliza would say our "special favorite". At his 4 month checkup he was 19lbs. 10oz and 27 inches long (holy cow)!!!He melts my heart!!
We are still not sure where our kids get these huge eyes.
My boob tubers!! They both like to watch TV. Eliza loves Justin. She is constantly hugging and kissing him and if she can't see him she askes, "Mom wheres Bubs?" She has called him Baby Bubba since before he was born (we think she just had a hard time saying Baby brother). At first I didn't really like Bubba but now its kinda cute. She switches between bubba, bubs, bubby, budda. He loves her just as much and can sit for hours just watching her. He will sit in his jumperoo and watch her dance and if she goes out of the room, he will whine until she returns.

Justin Joshua Volmer
Right before heading in.
Minutes after our boy was born.
Daddy and Eliza examining baby Justin.
The sweet boy.
The Volmer boys!
I realize I stink at blogging. This, however I figured was a good reason to post.
We had our sweet baby boy on Friday Oct. 16th at 7:57 p.m. He was 9 lbs 11 oz and 22 3/4".
Here is the boring (very short version) story if you care.
We had a planed C-section for Tuesday the 20th but we went to the doctor on Friday and I was having contractions 2 minutes apart. I was not dialated at all and my cervix was still so high we were worried my water would break over the weekend and it would turn into an emergency situation so we rushed to the hospital and had him a few days early!! The surgery went well and we escaped with very minor complications. We were shocked he was so small but we love having a baby that can wear the smaller clothes and diapers at birth. We debated on a name for the 3 days we were in the hospital and Justin wasn't even on our list, but it fits him and we like it.
He is such a good baby, has hardly cried at all and like Eliza sleeps through the night!! I am so lucky but we will see if it lasts. Eliza is a good big sister, loves to hold, kiss, and "wrestle" her brother. She is helpful and is constanly telling Justin she loves him. We are so glad he is finally here and so thankful for him and his safe arrival!!
